How much does a Power BI dashboard cost?
Less than the dashboard suggests and more than the demo suggests. The price is driven by what sits underneath: how many source systems, how clean the data is, and whether definitions are agreed. Two companies asking for the same report can be a factor five apart. We work in fixed-price phases, starting at around 5,000 euro, so you can stop after any phase.
What actually drives the price
- Number of source systems. One ERP is a different job from an ERP plus a webshop plus a time-tracking tool that all name the same customer differently.
- State of the data. Missing keys, duplicate customers and dates stored as text are the bulk of the work, and none of it is visible in the dashboard.
- Agreement on definitions. If four people mean four things by margin, that conversation has to happen before anything is built.
- Refresh frequency. Once a night is straightforward. Every hour, or near real time, changes the architecture underneath.

Each phase ends with a go or no-go. That is not a courtesy: it is the only way you can judge us on delivered work rather than on a proposal.
What it delivered elsewhere
At a marine contractor the heaviest visual went from over 24 seconds to 1.3 seconds after the data model was rebuilt. At a water authority more than 200 Oracle reports were replaced by 75 dashboards people actually use. For a transport company, 242 general ledger accounts were mapped to balance sheet and P&L across four levels.

Anyone quoting a fixed number without seeing your sources is guessing.
What does the first phase deliver?
A working dashboard on a modelled source instead of loose exports, plus the definitions behind every figure written down. Usually within 6 to 10 weeks. That is deliberately a complete, usable thing rather than a design document, so you can judge the result and not the promise.
How much of our own time does it take?
A few half-days at the start to walk through sources and definitions, then roughly 30 minutes every 2 weeks in a short sprint review. The build itself is on us; what we need from you is decisions, not hours.
What if we stop after the first phase?
Then it stops there. Every phase has its own fixed price and ends with a go or no-go. Everything built up to that point sits in your Microsoft tenant and your GitHub. You keep it and can continue with another party.
